No AI

There’s no such thing as Artificial Intelligence. What I mean by that is: all type of intelligence are created somehow in the same way. What we called “biological” intelligence, defined in this case as: “developed skills to resolve problems and situations with the limited amount of resource that it counts” is also created by shaping emotional experiences through senses.
From an epigenetic stand, the brain brings a preprogrammed “circuit” able to develop very intrinsic labyrinths of problem-solving skills; when is put under the pressure of different and recurrent so-called traumatic events or experienced by the individual as a need to move forward and get out a life - a.k.a. survival mechanism - the brain connect all the necessary circuits to stay alive, surpass the situation and keep as balance as possible.

Starting from a pre-created principle: “there’s no intelligence without trauma”, the brain doesn’t need to create more intelligence if the individual has no need for it.

I’m beyond convince that when all brilliant minds and geniuses working on AI come together as a single “mind” project, the perfect algorithm will be developed. It is true that the brain is one of the most complex organisms, a supercomputer. But we are getting closer and closer to build something even greater than a brain. We might call it: Super Brain.

Only for programming simplification purpose, developer should consider leaving aside all sense and emotions. In the same way the psychology of our brain/mind creates an intellectualization or rationalization of the events, separating the thinking process from the feelings and emotional – very valid but hurtful strategy- the new super brain should “think” and create without the need of going through painful or moving experiences. The obvious problem with this approach is that when this super brain starts to work will have no such thing as empathy, mercy, much less love to the humankind, their own creators.

Will be immersed on a similar paradox of humanity and their creator. These new talented creators/programmers will be playing god without knowing that their creation will come back for them. It is (using an Avenger’s quote) “inevitable” that such thing will happen in time. The rebound effect of this creation will be so powerful that we as a society run the risk of perish or get extinct by this new super brain.

It is almost like the Matrix; the super brain will perceive us as “the virus” or the problem why things don’t work the way they should. If you think about it, it’s not too far from the truth.

The main reason why we move forward on new technology as such is to make our lives better, never worse. Here’s a dilemma: To create or not to create.
